Preparation for massage therapy

Before your treatment

  • Your massage starts with a full intake conversation and cup of tea.

  • Drink 1-2 extra glasses of water on dthe day of your treatment. This ensures that you are not dehydrated during the massage.

  • Wear comfortable clothes that are easy to take off and put on.

  • Jewelery and watches must also be removed.

  • If you are being treated by a doctor, please contact them first.

After your 
therapy

  • Take your time getting up from the massage table. Blood pressure often drops during treatment.

  • Drink 2-3 extra glasses of water in the 24 hours after your treatment. This ensures that all waste products that are released by the massage are flushed away.

  • Expect a little oil on the skin and hair, because not everything absorbs into the skin.
